Sometimes all of us feel like things are becoming too much and yet we are unsure of how to move forward. It is entirely normal for people to feel stuck, lost or unhappy when they think about coming to therapy.
Psychotherapy offers a place where we can truly come to know ourselves. Developing a real awareness of how our personality emerged the way it did leaves us wiser about the relationship patterns we run and the ways we handle sadness, anxiety, closeness or loss.
Each of us carries a model inside us for relating to other people, and to life itself, which was set up in childhood. Parts of it might no longer be working for you and now they need changing.
The therapy journey into our past is designed to open us up to a more fulfilling future where we are calmer, happier and more in control of ourselves and where the next stage of our journey will take us.
